Kala Nera is central located on the Pelion Peninsula and is a perfect base to explore the area, by car or by scooter. For the hikers there are several hiking routes. From Kala Nera you can start a beautiful hiking route to the mountain village Milies and enjoy the view on the way up.
It is also possible to go the Monasteries of Meteora at Kalambaka or visit the Oracle of Delphi. Both sites are reachable in about 2 ½ hours by car and are worth it!
